Organic Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin

Hello beautiful people! It’s been a while since I wrote anything and I decided to share my skincare products with you. Most of the products that I use are organic skincare products because I try my best to avoid using chemicals on my face as much as I can. One of the most important steps into having healthy skin is to always remove your makeup before going to bed. I used to use makeup removers that would dry my skin and I have noticed my skin change once I stopped using those type of products. So let’s get into it…

1. Organic Makeup Remover

I use coconut oil to remove my makeup. In fact, coconut oil has many uses and nutrients! I was hesitant at first, but it can remove waterproof makeup as well as makeup removers and it leaves your skin feeling very soft (and it smells great too). Everyone needs to have a jar of coconut in their home, for removing makeup, using as lotion for dry skin, and it’s also great for your hair! I usually grab some with my fingers and melt it in my hands if needed (when it’s cold, the coconut oil becomes solid) and I rub it gently onto my face and then I use a napkin to remove the makeup. I’m sure any coconut oil works the same way, but the one that I’ve been buying lately is the huge tubs from Costco because they last a really long time and I use it for everything. You can find it here.

2. Face wash

(This one is not organic, but it’s 100% vegetarian)

I received this item for free from Influenster in exchange for a review and I have not stopped using it since. A side note: If you haven’t already, you should sign up for Influenster because you could get really cool makeup and skincare products for free in exchange for reviews!  I use this product to wash my face in the shower instead of soap. It leaves your skin feeling super refreshed and clean (the equivalent of brushing your teeth, but for your face). Also, it has 100% vegetarian ingredients and if you want to learn more about their amazing ingredients and their other products you can click here. You can find this product at Target, Walmart, and Amazon.

3. Facial Oil

Inn the morning before I apply anything else to my face, I use an oil. The one I use is a natural rosehip oil by RosehipPLUS, which is an Australian brand. You only need like two drops, so it does  last a long time and it’s worth the price. I I have a combo skin which means the bridge of y nose, chin, and forehead get oily, but the sides of my noses and mouth get dry and this has helped tremendously. You can buy it here.

4. Lotion with SPF

(This one is not organic either)

Over the years, I’ve used many different lotions with SPF. I don’t really have a favorite because the only things that matter to me is that it has SPF and that it doesn’t make my skin breakout. So the one I’m using now that has been good to my skin is this one by Burt’s Bees. It is so so important to use lotions with SPF because that’s the first step you can take in taking care of your skin and protecting it from any damage from the sun. You can get this one from Walmart, here.

5. More Oil

When my day ends and I remove my makeup with coconut oil, I like to put another oil on. This one is a bit more on the pricey side, but it makes your skin very silky and just nice overall. I used to use a night cream as well, but I switched to just using oils instead. You can buy this oil here. If you cannot afford it, you can replace it with rose hip oil. That’s what I’ve been doing lately since I just ran out of this one. You can get it here. I actually did not pay full price for this because I found it at a T.J.Maxx, so you should check your local shop and maybe you’ll get lucky and find it there!

After using these organic skincare products, I have noticed a difference and I am now more comfortable than ever in my skin. Just as a disclaimer, these are the products that worked for me and everyone is different so there could be some products that don’t work for your skin type. Let me know if you try any of these products and if it’s working for you. I hope you enjoyed this post! Also, let me know in the comments if there is another topic you would like for me to cover.

With love,

Rose
